Patti Davison

Patti Davison

Residency Coordinator
A native of East Tennessee, Patti lives in near-by Piney Flats with her husband, Bob, and daughter, Samantha. She enjoys going to the movies, reading a good murder-mystery, and taking care of their menagerie which includes 4 dogs, 2 goats, a horse, a rabbit, and a coup full of chickens. Patti loves her role as coordinator. “My residents are caring, compassionate, fun-loving and wonderful individuals, which makes my work enjoyable and full of surprises!” she says. Patti feels that assisting her residents along their journey of becoming a physician is an honor. In addition to trying to make the residents’ lives somewhat paper-free and stress-free, she conducts the administrational tasks necessary for our program’s accreditation.

Arlene Bennett

Arlene Bennett

Office Manager
An avid artist, Arlene Bennett enjoys working with oils, pastels, and acrylics. She also enjoys gardening, outdoor activities, and reading. She is very active in her church and has traveled to several different countries on mission trips. As office manager, she is also the administrative assistant to the department chair. She assists in faculty recruitment and budget planning. Arlene has been in the department since 1998 and has watched the department flourish.

Debbie Berry

Debbie Berry

Secretary
Debbie Berry’s hobbies include throwing horseshoes, cooking, reading, and socializing with her friends. Living in Elizabethton with her husband Keith, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and grand-dog. As a secretary in the department, Debbie monitors the procedure case log system for the residents and assists with didactics each week. After 23 years of factory work, Debbie finds her new career at ETSU interesting.

Linda Lyons

Linda Lyons

Secretary
Linda Lyons is a 28 year veteran of the Department of OB/GYN. She is married to her husband Shelby and has one daughter, Heather, and her two bassets, George and Sandy. Her hobbies are her church work, reading, flower/vegetable gardening, sewing, and basket/floral creations. Having started when the department was just a couple of years old, she was the second office staff person hired within the department. She was hired as secretary for the new maternal/fetal medicine division and has served in that position from its inception, but she has served as secretary to generalists, reproductive endocrinologists, and research faculty. Her job has evolved 360 degrees from the time that she started to work in the department. Presently she is secretary to two maternal/fetal medicine specialists, two generalists and one researcher. She also helps the chairman, the office manager and other secretarial personnel when called upon. Linda is extremely loyal to this department and its mission.

Stephanie Nave

Stephanie Nave

Clerkship Coordinator
Stephanie Nave, a native of Elizabethton, is the clerkship coordinator for Ob/Gyn. She enjoys working with the medical students and has received numerous awards from the students. Stephanie currently serves on the ETSU Staff Senate. Her husband, Kenneth, is also an university employee. Shopping, reading, and spending time with her family are Stephanie’s favorite pastimes.
